Terms of Service

Last updated: TODO: owner — set date

These terms apply when you browse or buy from Krystal Jewels. By placing an order you accept them.

Who you’re buying from

Krystal Jewels, [TODO: owner — registered business name, address, and any registration number]. Contact: [TODO: owner — support email address].

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The sale is confirmed when we take payment and send your confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, priced in error, or we suspect fraud — and we’ll refund you in full if we do.

Pricing and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Payment is handled by Square; by paying you also accept Square’s own terms. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before dispatch.

[TODO: owner — tax: state whether prices include sales tax, or that tax is added at checkout — this must match how the checkout is actually configured]

Shipping and returns

Delivery timings are set out in our Shipping policy, and returns in our Returns & Refunds policy. Both form part of these terms.

Our products

Our jewelry is stainless steel: waterproof and tarnish-free under normal wear. Product photography is as accurate as we can make it, but screens vary and slight differences in finish or tone are normal. Sizes are approximate to within [TODO: owner — size tolerance, e.g. 1mm].

[TODO: owner — add any allergy or metal-sensitivity wording you want — e.g. that pieces are nickel-free, if that is true of your stock]

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.

Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at scale, or use it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

Our content

The Krystal Jewels name, logo, photography, and site content belong to us and may not be reused commercially without permission.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Otherwise, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.

[TODO: owner — have this section in particular reviewed by a lawyer — liability limits vary by state and an unenforceable clause is worse than none]

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [TODO: owner — state / jurisdiction].

Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here when you place your order.
